What we aim to achieve through Shikshāgraha in Changlang District
Shikshagraha aims to create a self-sustaining system by using micro-improvement and collaboration with education leaders, DIET, and CSOs to address education challenges and support the District Education Empowerment Programme (DEEP).
School-Level Innovations
By breaking down challenges into smaller objectives, the micro-improvement approach empowers school leaders and teachers to create meaningful change, making solutions more achievable.
Block/Cluster-Level Partnerships
Collaborating with block and cluster leaders to implement micro-improvement projects strengthens school support, allowing school leaders and teachers to sustain impactful improvements.
Greater Impact at the District-Level
NCERT's District Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) empowers districts and DIETs to design tailored programs. IFET is implementing DEEP in Changlang District, collaborating with leaders to implement need-based, locally relevant programs in a phased, mission-driven approach.

Approach of DEEP
DEEP aims to improve district education by strengthening school leadership, capacitating teachers, and promoting community engagement. IFET will collaborate with state officials, DDSE, BEOs, BRCCs, CRCCs, and school leaders to ensure the program’s success.

Goals of District Education Empowerment Program- Changlang District
6 young women from Changlang began their on-the-job training at Marriott International Hotels.
